Happy new year. congratulations on coming into another fresh season. Thank you for joining us again today. It is always beautiful to learn together at God’s feet. Thanks be to God, our Father for His love. May we continually walk in the consciousness of this love. We open our hearts to learn from You, the All-Knowing God in Jesus’ unfailing name (Amen). In  our last post, we talked about the purpose of marriage. We considered ‘Wholeness’ ‘mirroring the relationship between Christ and the church’ and ‘raising godly kids’. Today, we will wrap it up. Genesis 5:1-2 talks about wholeness. There is something about the unity in marriage:  most of the relationships we have on earth is based on adding value, the only relationship legitimately based on covenant is marriage. Blessed be our God for another opportunity to continue our discussions on the second chapter of the book 'Raising Of Sons' by Ibidun Olude. We know it's going to be an insightful time in His Presence. Hallelujah! A wise man once said that a life without purpose is a tragedy. We have identified that the devil's subtle way of bringing about disorder in the way God has purposed things to be,  is to influence men to place emphasis on unimportant matters and drive focus in the wrong direction. If the devil could successfully distract mankind from that which matters most, his agenda would be fulfilled... Is it then any wonder today why there are many absentee/irresponsible fathers prioritizing their families as secondary while they place focus on less important matters?
