RAISING OF SONS

Related imageWith respect to our ongoing discussion of the first chapter of the book - Raising of sons by Ibidun Olude, the unwholesome interpretation of Proverbs 31 has been relatively responsible for the untold pain experienced by many ladies. 

Undue emphasis has been given to the need for the female expression of God to be found as a Virtuous woman with little mention of the role of the male expression of God. Males ought to take their place in the program of God without females neglecting their role.


More attention should be paid to the need for males to (through the guidance of the Holy Spirit) become the kind of man that brings out the best in the woman God has placed in his life. Who a person becomes, what a man is made into is dependent on the person he is following. We are all called to be followers of God (Ephesians 5:1). Becoming the Proverbs 31 hero is dependent on training a man to live by the Spirit. A man of the Spirit lives out a quality of life in consonance with the life of God (Zoe). This is the greatest delight of a human, to live the life of God.

The book, Raising of Sons by Ibidun Olude , has been widely considered a masterpiece for helping humanity refocus attention on the Creator’s original plan for His Male expression (i.e. the male gender). It puts forth the role  the female expression of God (the feminine gender) has to play in the proper development of the male, as well as the intent of God for the family system. Raising of Sons The book points to a major but often overlooked emphasis in the book of Proverbs, chapter 31. Most relationships we have on earth is based on adding value, the only relationship legitimately based on covenant is marriage.
